Jonathan is a versatile and eclectic composer, music producer and sound designer, creating music and soundscapes for TV, film, games, and other media. Bringing the unconventional and left-field in line with his solid commercial appeal, he approaches music-making with an energetic and endlessly curious mindset.
After playing in numerous spirited indie bands during the late 2000s, he spent a decade exploring and honing his craft, writing and producing music for art-house films and experimental theatre productions throughout London before quickly becoming a sought-after composer and producer for a broad range of clients, including BBC, Netflix, ITV, Channel 4, Sky and Disney.
Combining his love of traditional and organic instrumentation with more experimental electronic recording and production techniques, alongside his knack for a strong melody, he soon found his work featured across a range of television and film productions (Black Mirror, Welcome To Wrexham, Jonathan Creek, The Simpsons), picking up Production Music Awards and Music and Sound Awards nominations in the process.
By day, Jonathan works from his studio in Brighton, surrounded by vintage recording equipment, analogue synths and a wide array of acoustic instruments. By night he is a member of noisy electro-punk-pop band The Meat Sweaters and releases improvised ambient guitar pieces as Peach Banquet.
